Storm Chaser since 1994

Mike, who was most recently an camera meteorologist for FOX61-WDSI in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is one of the creators of Tornado Express Tours. Ever since childhood, Mike always had an eye for the sky and began keeping weather charts when he was 10 years old. After high school, Mike pursued a degree in Meteorology at Mississippi State University, where he also began hunting storms. During his time at MSU, he became very acclimated with severe thunderstorms, their tendencies, and morphology. Since earning his degree, Mike continues to storm chase any time the occasion allows. When Mike isn't on one of his adventurous excursions to the Great Plains, he's off enjoying his free time with his wife and daughter. "My wife is very supportive of me and my extracurricular habit."

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1996, he built his meteorology career by working for KECI-TV in Missoula, Montana. Alan also worked as a meteorologist at Weather Central Inc. and WKOW-TV in Madison, Wisconsin from 1999 until 2005. Currently, Alan is a meteorologist for KRGV-TV in Weslaco, Texas.
