Tornadoes-
The most violent twisters can have wind speeds over 300 mph.
This F3 tornado touched down near Udall, Kansas on June 12, 2004.

Hail- This record-size hail fell in
Aurora, Nebraska on June 22, 2003. It measured seven inches in
diameter! This broke the previous record for largest hail from a
5.7 inch diameter hailstone that fell in Coffeyville, KS on September
3, 1970. Residents in the area described the falling hail as looking
like it was "raining volleyballs."
