2007 Follow Along Tours

If you would rather follow along in your own vehicle, ask about our "Follow Along" tours. You can drive in your own car. Tornado Express will provide the guidance. Just follow behind our storm chasing van. You can follow us for just one day or for an entire week. We'll provide you with a two-way radio so you can communicate with our storm chasers.

 2007 Follow Along Storm Chase Calendar
Follow Along Tours (No Hotel): $150.00/day Per Person
Choose any start date of a tour (May 6, May 13, May 20, May 27, June 3, June 10, or June 18) and follow us in your own vehicle for up to six days.

Follow Along Tours (With Hotel): $1,100 for 6 Day Tour (7 nights Hotel) Per Person
or $1,500 for 6 Day Tour for Two People (Double Occupancy)
Follow us in your own vehicle for all six days of our storm chasing tour and have us pay your hotel.

*Tornado Express will pay for Double Occupancy Hotel Rooms. If you are traveling as a group and need more than one hotel room, the 6 Day price will be $1,225 per person.

*Nevada Residents add 7.25% Sales Tax

6 Day Storm Chase
 No Storm Chasing/Travel Day
6 Day Tours with Hotel
Prices include hotel stays beginning on the night before the storm chase begins. Storm chases will begin at 8:00 a.m local time on the first day listed of each storm chase tour. Storm chase tours will end by around 10:00 p.m. local time on the last day listed.

For example: If you select the June 10-June 15 tour, you will first check into a hotel on the evening of June 9. The storm chase will begin at around 8:00 a.m. June 9. After the storm chase ends by around 10:00 p.m. June 15, you will stay the night and check out the morning of June 16.

Our tours include the following:
1. Hotels during the tour. Breakfast is usually free at most hotels.
2. Two Way Radio to communicate with the storm chasing van.
3. Free shuttles between the hotel and the airport in Omaha or Oklahoma City. Call ahead to make a shuttle appointment.
4. Free DVD of video highlights: A documentary of the 2007 storm chasing season will be sent to you later in the year.

You will be responsible for the following:
1. Any airfare or travel costs to and from the home base city before and after the storm chase tour.
2. Any costs for meals (breakfast is usually free), drinks, entertainment, souvenirs, medication, laundry, or other personal needs.
3. Your own vehicle (including gas and any service needed).
4. Following our storm chasers. Please try to follow us during the tour. You will stay in the same hotel with the other storm chasers on our tour. Please be ready to leave each morning for the chase.


After you decide on a storm chase tour, you can reserve your vacation with a $350 non-refundable deposit. The remaining payment is due no later than 15 days before the first day of your storm chase tour.
